When Steam Whistle Brewing was running out of capacity at the Roundhouse, they were faced with a tough decision: stop growing or grow outside their home of 17 years; the John St. Roundhouse. The decision to grow beyond the historic walls that built their country was a big one, but to grow it had to be done. So, from big sister Steam Whistle came the foundation they needed to create a new brewery with its own beer; Von Bugle Brewing’s Munich Lager. At Von Bugle, their mission is to create a beer worthy of all who call Canada home. They use select ingredients along with the methods perfected over centuries by European brewmasters.
